I didn't/don't really read enough to for a full opinion, but labelking really impressed me. When I was younger I clumsily fashioned myself afetr what I though Evelyn Waugh was like, I wanted to be a kind of witty, conservative aesthete. LK seemed to do it better, and funnier and cooler than I ever could. He also seemed kinda mean and judgmental, not in a bad way, but I imagine if you met him in real life he'd be disgusted.
LK is his own animal and comfortable in his own skin. I wish he posted more these days. He attended some SF SF meetups (see what I did there?) and every one seemed to like him.
