those designs are so classic.

I don't disagree...but I own three of them so I was curious if anything else was in the pipeline.

I have a pair of the suede double monk, I love how they look! However, I wore them around 7 times total before the buckles broke. I emailed DC Lewis back in August, and I was told they were ordering some, I never heard back. Can someone on here help me? I would really like to be able to wear them again.

Did you try emailing KW assuming you bought them through him? If you didn't buy through him he still may be able to help you source the buckle. Either way you will need to take them to a cobbler to get the buckle attached so it may be worth asking your cobbler if he can source a similar looking buckle.

I did try emailing them last August. I got them when they were first starting up, I was one of the first buyers in fact.

I might just go to a cobbler, it's just frustrating having to pay for their cheap materials (the buckles themselves, the shoes seem fine so far in my limited experience)

Edit: I bought them through DC Lewis directly. Since I didn't get them through KW I would feel bad making him pay for their mistake.

The same happened to mine, a pair of the initial samples sold on this site. Fortunately, at the time DC Lewis had some spare buckles that he sent me. A local cobbler was then able to fix the shoes.

I really like the handgrade wholecut oxford and I was wondering if you could answer some questions about them:
1) Can you add metal toe taps and if so, how much extra would that be?
2) Are hand lasted or semi-hand lasted shoe trees available right now and if so, how much extra is that?
3) Since you've said that a refurbishing/resoling program wouldn't be very cost effective, which cobblers would you even recommend (I'm in the U.S.)
4) Are the shoes 270 degrees gyw or are they 360 degrees gyw?
