I had a pair of C&J, but I was visiting my parents and my mom let go of the door as I was walking in with some bags, the door was metal and created a gash two inches long and pretty deep. They were not repairable frown.gif

Edit: It's sad, but I purchased my darltons and suede double monks since then. I guess my priorities are off laugh.gif

My condolences! How are the meetings with the shrink going? I know I'd need about a year of mourning before I could move on.

@ teh spooner & davito: I'm not a shell fan but those look fabulous. Sole inclusive. Spoo's gonna have a fap arm from brushing those lol8[1].gif

Then again, I don't have a staple brown captoe, so I am biased.

Disagree, they look special because of the shell imo, agree on the beautiful part.

I was not a shell cordovan fan until recently, they have something that make me look at them all the time, the tones, incredible comfort, I don't know, the way they look around the eyelets. I'm sold on shell and I'm worried.

Disregard the logo and soles, they will come standard with fiddleback if and when they come to fruition. I have some cordovan now but I'll have to speak with Nick to see if he can provide a larger supply to us small fish.
ET, what size are you?

Hey David! I assume you are referring to me right?

Im a US size 10 but I dunno which size should I take in that model, drop me a pm if you see this yea!

Post pics also of the suede matthews when they arrive!

If anyone's size US7D (or 6.5) in a Matthew didn't work out, I'd be happy to repurchase from you.

You bet, brown is a tough color to get but I hope to add that model in some color of shell in the not-so-distant future.

Actually, I was referring to Eustace. biggrin.gif
You would take a 10 in the Matthew though

I'm not sure everyone saw this so just in case some of you have not, here are a few more samples in shell:
