Have to agree, the Matthew is a beauty ... but black is not for me, so will stick to my order of the Clayton biggrin.gif

Its been a bit since I wore Magnanni, but Im pretty sure their 10 = 43 here. Scale up or down as necessary.

Are you fucking kidding me? For those quality shoes, that's a god damn steal. The lasted trees just puts it over the top.

Fuck, I wish I could own some of these instead of dumbass old Allen Edmonds.

Does the double monk have the same instep as the Clayton?

Were any adjustments to the Clayton lasts to accommodate those with high insteps?

[Edit]
Oops, I mean Clayton (the monk)

Refurbishing services are not available at this time but perhaps in the future. I will look into it.
Lasted shoe trees will be available within a month or so and will be free for those who choose to pay in full up front for pre-orders as an alternative to the $125 deposit.
Kent Wang carries only one D.C. Lewis model at this time- the Clayton. All other "benchmade" shoes are not made by D.C. Lewis so I cannot comment on his footwear.

The shoes looks very good and quality/price ratio is very high.  Just need the factory refurbishing program running to make this worthwhile for me.  Good luck.

Yeah, because without that, these shoes are at such a poor price point as to make them completely unbuyable. I mean, how can you honestly expect people to buy shit like this without a fucking factory refurbishing program up and running? Its not like you're offering amazing shoes at a tremendous value. No, what you're obviously trying to give me a sewn up cow's hide that I'm going to beat to shit and then not be able to send anywhere. Well what the fuck kind of business model is that?!?!

In my experience, the Matthew is slightly wider than the Clayton, but both have the same instep.
