Got mine today as well, very nice.

I actually think the color is closest to the brown that is used in the famous darltons...though without a side by side I can't tell 100%

Either way it's a pure brown, very nice

These shells look beautiful; the pictures are as good for any cordovan loafer I've seen, rich and plush. My size. Unfortunately, having already bought a $750 plus shoes recently, I'm not going to risk a divorce.
