I prefer green in Filson normally but unless you need it to be for business as well, I think tan looks much better on the smaller bags. I have a green duffle but would never get the green for a smaller case.

The bags you posted look nice and the beige is nicer than the all black one, but I don't know exactly where I stand on Herschel bags. Many sources say that the materials they use are crappy and not real - for example the leather they use is pleather - as well as the construction is bad. I haven't owned one to put it through its paces but I've inspected one in a store and wasn't impressed. For the price I would say go for it, but don't expect it to last years (unless you're not like I am and plop, throw, and abuse your bag).

i own a herschel bag, the constructions isnt very good but it's not awful. however, i'd rather save up a little more and get something by topo design or blk pine.

maas and stacks has some blk pine backpacks on sale right now..

Was going to get this Nanamica but it sold out on Tres Bien so I just went with a Drkshdw Eastpak. Wanted something simple and white/off-white.

Do you really need a backpack? I just decided to ditch it and go for a messenger. Seems to fit me better, and usually they're much more stylish.

I agree that they are more stylish, but I like the fit of backpacks more. I have been using a NF Recon for the last 4 years and it has kept my stuff dry even during the heaviest downpours.

.....Question: Would anyone here purchase this bag?82553780.png

my reaction to that bag

I would strongly advise you to not purchase a Herschel. They are hip and trendy and all and have a nice throwback Jansport feel but the construction is really subpar. Check them out at Urban Outfitters.

Yeah the quality looks poor but they are cheap so I didn't expect much anyways

Forgot to mention I did a review of the Lexdray Toyko Pack here.

Fair warning, it's pricey but you get what you pay for.
