Hi all,
Up for sale are two NWT suits. Sizes listed in the title are the tag sizes, but I added some measurements as I think both of these suits are cut pretty slim - I'm normally a 42R and I couldnt even get these jackets on. Paypal only.

1. NWT Polo Ralph Lauren (Made in Italy which I believe is also Corneliani) Garrison model - I believe this model generally has wider singlebreasted lapels. The inside jacket tag says 40L with 8 inch drop, and the vest and pants both say 32R. Navy blue 3-piece suit with pin-dot pinstripe. Double-vented. Pants are pleated with side tabs. 100% cotton. The suit has a nice light feel, perfect for summer. SOLD. I'm happy to cover domestic shipping costs but international buyers will have to cover the shipping fees.

Measurements (approximations as measured with the suit laying flat):

[Edited measurements:
Apologies for the daffy measurements - you guys were dead on, I don't know why but the shoulder, chest, and sleeve measurements were all off by about an inch.]

Jacket:
Shoulder to shoulder: 16 3/4 inches

Shoulder seam to cuff: 25 1/2 inches

Underarm to underarm: 19 inches

Jacket waist: 20 inches

Top of the collar to bottom hem: 32 inches

Vest:
Top of the neck to bottom: 22 3/4 inches

Underarm to underarm: 20 inches

Pants:
Waist across: 16 1/2 inches

Length from top of waist to bottom: 47 1/4 inches (not sure these measurement are particularly helpful as the pants arent finished, still have basted stitching and obviously can be hemmed to fit)

Leg Opening: 8 1/2 inches (again, not sure these measurement are particularly helpful as the pants arent finished, still have basted stitching and obviously can be hemmed to fit)

2. NWT Corneliani tagged 50R (US 40R) with corresponding 6 inch drop. A nice navy blue two button singlebreasted blue and white/light grey pinstripe). Double-vented, flat front pants. 100% wool.
Sold

Measurements (approximations as measured with the suit laying flat):

Jacket:
Shoulder to shoulder: 16 1/2 inches

Shoulder seam to cuff: 24 3/4 inches

Underarm to underarm: 18 1/2 inches

Jacket waist: 18 1/2 inches

Top of the collar to bottom hem: 31 3/4 inches

Pants:
Waist across: 17 1/2 inches

Rise: 10 1/2 inches

Length from top of waist to bottom: 44 inches (not sure these measurement are particularly helpful as the pants aren't finished, still have basted stitching and obviously can be hemmed to fit)

Leg Opening: 8 1/2 inches (again, not sure these measurement are particularly helpful as the pants aren't finished, still have basted stitching and obviously can be hemmed to fit)

I like the Polo 3 piece, and it's definitely like a 38L. It's worth picking up if you're a true 38L and can't find anything. I got one of these Polo 3 piece cotton suits (Bradford model), but haven't even gotten it finished yet.

It's a L but the sleeve is 24.5?

I think it's an error as the chest is also written as like 17 inches . If it's unaltered, it will be normal length, maybe 25.5-26.

I'll take another look tonight when I get home tonight - I am generally bad with measurements, although as I recall the sleeve was pretty much a spot on 24.5. I was laying the coat down flat on the ground when I measured and thought the 17 inch measurement across the underarms was strange, but the jacket certainly is tapered in the chest with the waist opening up quite a bit.

I did get the PM - thanks.

Could you please also double-check the shoulder on the Corneliani? 16.5 seems at least an inch too narrow for a US40. Thanks in advance!

[Edited to apologize for the illegal bumping and to make amends by offering a price reduction on the remaining PRL suit - reduced from $400 to $375.]

The Corneliani is actually sold pending payment. I'll update the original post once payment has been received.

I'm happy to take another look at the measurements when I get home, but along the lines of what Tony Romo mentioned earlier, I think these suits are both more like a 38 (or very slim-fit 40) despite what the sizes on the tags say. I'm usually a 42R (with 18 inches shoulder to shoulder) but I can always get into a 40, its just usually too snug around the middle. I could not even get these jackets on, the shoulders were that tight.

You've been here long enough, you should know the rules about bumping (twice) without a price drop.

I'm a true 38L and would be very interested in your suit. Assuming your chest and sleeve measurements are way off.
