Hello Gentlemen, SOLD Up for sale is an amazing Vintage Hart Schaffner & Marx Silver Trumpeteer suit. This brand, like most American brands, made outstanding quality clothing prior to the 1970's. This suit dates to the late 60's and is a classic American-style summer suit in 100% lightweight wool. It passes the pinch test for canvassing, has a two-button front, single vent, and is 3/4 lined. The pants are uncuffed, flat-front, have Talon hardware, and are unlined. This suit is a great lighter gray glen plaid with a subtle light blue overcheck. Gently worn, no notable flaws except for a small spot on the front of the pants, as pictured. A truly great American-made summer suit that will be a warm-weather mainstay of yours for years. No tagged size- appears to be a 40L, but please go by the measurements - more pictures and measurements available on request. Measurements: Jacket: Shoulders - 18.25" Chest (flat across) - 20.5" Sleeve (from shoulder) - 25.5" (+0.75") Length (down back, bottom of collar) - 31" Pants: Waist (flat across) - 16.5" (should be able to get at least 1 inch out) Inseam - 31" (+3.25") Hem - just under 9"
