You mean the only way people get herpes is if you sleep with the entire football team and not just one person? She is not a complete stranger to me. I know her for a while through friends. I also know the guy she dated since high school. She never was the girls gone wild personality, so I'd have to take her word for it. lol

I think best thing for me to do is to make an appointment with an infectious disease specialist and educate myself more on prevention. I found some info from an online health forum where many couples with one infected partner manage to live without being affected. They said as long as they take some anivirals it is manageable.

I recommend further reading on American Social Health Association's website.

Just say no. Seriously, if you don't have it, I can't see a situation where you'd want to consider catching it for a few moments of pleasure. That's just plain dumb. As "skin conditions" go it's pretty nasty Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Then I've done my public service. Googling "hsv2" (images) would be enlightening for those who think that it's "no big deal"

Herpes is a numbers game, dude. The more people you bang, the more you expose yourself to the odds. While it's certainly possible to get herpes from your first and only lay, that's not usually how one acquires it. There is a high correlation between having the herp and being promiscuous.

Tell her to take L-Lysine for about 90 days. L-Lysine has been proven to make herpes disappear and stop outbreaks. Some would even call it a cure.

+1. I also suggest regular bleedings as needed to balance the humours.

It is well known that a diet rich in wheat gluten angries up the blood, causing bilious humours to circulate throughout the system and upset the balance therein. I would suggest no fewer than three leeches for a period no less than 30 minutes.

This is all bullshit. Everybody knows that a diet absent of sugars will cure all modern diseases.
