Greetings all. Some of you know that my dad is very ill. I am taking a leave of absence from work and returning to my hometown; however, I would like to move these outstanding items before departing this week. PLEASE SEE NEW/CONSOLIDATED POSTING DATED 7-9-11 FOR MOST CURRENT ITEMS FOR SALE. Unless otherwise noted, all items are in very good condition. Shipping included (CONUS) on items that have NOT not been reduced or marked down. Also, 3% paypal fee required for all items with reduced prices. Some items consolidated from an old thread. Not a professional tailor so all measurements are approximate. That said, please feel free to seek clarification if needed.

Suit:1:

Kiton Wool (13,2 Micron) Suit.
EXCELLENT CONDITION. Size 40R. Finest of fabrics; feels like cashmere to the touch. Navy with a subtle lavender windowpane pattern. Notch lapel. 2-button, side vents and dapper Italian silhouette. Working, handmade button holes, pick stitching, amazing fabric, and other fine details consistent with Kiton. Slacks have two inside pleats, ticket pocket, and interior lining. Purchased two seasons ago on sale at Saks. The original retail price before my sale price was ticketed at $8K. Worn 3-4X max. Measurements: pit to pit=19.5"; shoulder to shoulder=19; sleeve length (top of shoulder seam to bottom cuff) =26"; BOC=31”; lapel width (at widest point) =3.25; slacks waist=32; inseam=30.5"; cuff=1.5"; leg opening= 9”. Original retail price $8K. SOLD.

Sportcoats:

1. Polo Ralph Lauren (blue label) Size 40R, but I had garment taken in and it’s more like a 38R. Purchased at Ralph Lauren shop in Chevy Chase, DC or Philadelphia . Great, versatile jacket, but it's rarely worn. Patch pockets, center vent. Fabric: linen, silk and wool; beautiful brown/taupe herringbone pattern. Very good condition. Measurments: Measurments: Pit to pit=19; chest=20 (I had jacket taken in for a stronger sillhouete and there's a rooom to let out if you'd like); sleeves (from shoulder seam to bottom of cuff)=25.5; BOC=31. Original price just under $800. Asking: $100<$80<$75. Photos out of sequence; see pictures 21-24.

Shirts:

Kiton blue and beige shirt. French cuff. Size 38/15. Worn 1-2X's max. The shirt is wonderful. It does not get any use, however, as it's a bit too big for me. Excellent condition. Measurements are as follows: Pit to pit=22"; sleeve (from top of sleeve shoulder seam to bottom of french cuff)=29"; BOC=33"Purchased at Barney's NY. Original price: $650. Asking: $125. Keeping for myself.

Borelli gray/yellow (alternating) striped shirt. French cuff. Size 38/15. Worn 5X's max; excellent condition. Shirt is a bit to big for me. Measurements are as follows: Pit to pit=22"; sleeve (from top of sleeve shoulder seam to bottom of french cuff)=29"; BOC=32""Purchased at Neiman's outlet. SOLD.

6: Robert Graham shirt. Barrel cuff. Size Small. Worn once. Nice shirt, but not my style. It was a gift. Don't know their retail value. SOLD.

7: Michael Bastian plaid shirt. New with tags. Size 15.5. Amazing details abound on this shirt. Purchased on sale at Bergdorf's this past season, but I don't like the fit on me. Would prefer to sell on SF rather than send back to Bergdorf’s. Orig price: $495. SOLD.

8: Zegna shirt. Size small. Barrel cuff. Hidden buttons under collar. Org./wht. gingham patten. MADE IN ITALY. Works well with suit, s/c, jeans or khaki's. Purchased at Saks a couple seasons ago, but I've worn the shirt no more than 6-7x's. Measurements: Pit to pit=20.5; sleeve (shoulder seam to bottom cuff)=26; BOC=31. SOLD.

Sweaters:

Lanvin cardigan. Worn once, but too big. Purchased last season. Size Medium. 100% wool. Color: Blue front with contrasting gray sleeves and back. Two sleek front pockets. Sweater works well with suit jacket, slacks or jeans. Love this sweater; excellent craftsmanship. Pit to pit=21; sleeve (from shoulder seam to bottom cuff)=26; TOC=28". Retail roughly $900. Asking: $250<$235<$225.

Shoes:

Bontoni brown lace up dress shoe[/b]. Size 9 (US) Gentiluomo model. Very elegant. Very good condition (but not excellent) due to a flaw or two from walking in city. I am quite fastidious and feel very comfortable wearing the shoes. Any good cobbler (Shoe Spa in NYC) can also minimize and, often vanquish any flaws. I rate them a 7.5-8 out of 10. Measurements: 12" long x 4" wide x 1" heel. Orig purchase price $1100. Asking $325<$275<$250 (includes dust bags and orig box). Reasonable offers accepted.

NEW/CONSOLIDATED ITEMS -- 7/9/11

(Please read the sizes carefully as some of the items listed here are not mine and, for "regulars," do not reflect my usual measurements and sizes of: shirt= 15.5/39 size; suit and sportcoat/=(btwn.)48-50 (IT)/38-40 (US); slacks 48 (IT)/32 (US). Instead, a few of the items listed are from family, but I will make a notation next to these items to prevent confusion...

Shirts

1: Jhane Barnes White French Cuff Shirt. Size Small. 100% cotton. I received this shirt as a gift, and have worn it 2x's max. Excellent condition. Despite french cuff, I believe that this shirt looks best with jeans, slacks and/or a sportcoat and pants. Can also be worn with a suit, but I wouldn't wear a tie. Measurments: neck=15"; pit to pit=20.5; sleeve (top of sleeve seam to french cuff)=25. Asking: $25.

2: Malo Shirt with Double Barrel Cuff. Hidden collar buttons. Size 48 (similar to 15.5/39). Made in Italy. 100% cotton. Great quality, details and craftsmanship. Ecru primary color, contrasted with salmon-like stripes. Fabric has a very subtle texture. I've worn this shirt about 3X's. Selling b/c of closet cleaning, but this is truly a wonderful shirt with the most minimal prior wear at a great buy. Measurements: neck=15; pit to pit=19; sleeve (from top of sleeve seam to bottom of barrel cuff)=25.5. Asking: $40.

3: Mario's (store line) 100% linen shirt. White with tan stripes. Barrel cuff. Size M. Made in Italy. Too big for me these days. Worn less than 3X. Asking: $18<$16.

4: Brioni French Cuff Shirt. (Pale) lavender primary color with white collar and cuffs. Unique houndstooth pattern. Size 39/15.5. Purchased this shirt, an exclusive to Neiman's, a couple of seasons ago Shirt is in overall good shape; however, there is some soil from usage on collar and cuffs, which can likely be easily removed by soaking in lemon juice or another homemade remedy. Exquisite fabric and fine craftsmanship is consistent with Brioni. I still wear the shirt on rare occassion -- it has served me well -- , but I could use some closet space, hence it's time for a new home. Orig. price $425+. Asking: $25.

5: Tahari (Made in Italy, unlike most Tahari items) black shirt. French cuff. Size small. Tapered fit. Like shirt, but don't wear it often (twice max), hence want to move it. Purchased last year at Saks. Asking: $30<$25.

6: Lanvin Barrel Cuff Shirt. Houndstooth pattern of tan/brown. Size 39/15.5. Made in France. 100% contton. I haven't worn this shirt often, although it is a great piece with the right slacks, s/c or jeans and, if comfortable with mixing patterns, a suit. Rarely worn. Great condition and craftsmanship. Asking: $30

7: Vintage Gucci from Tom Ford era. Excellent cond. Size 15/38. Too tight, but amazing shirt. I bought from a SF member who had lots of vintage Gucci in storage. Elegant, hip and sexy shirt. Asking: $87<$83 (eBay next).

8: Ted Baker French Cuff Shirt. Lavender with herringbone pattern. Size 16/34-35. Spread collar.100% cotton. Received as a gift, but it's a bit too big. I have worn the shirt, but no more than 2-3x's. Decent (but not excellent) quality. Fine material, gussett, front buttons sewn using cross stitch. of buttons. Asking: $25

9: Brioni Sport Shirt (**Shirt was my brother's). 100% cotton. Gray primary color, coupled with olive, white and light blue windowpane. Size tag missing, but my brother noted that it's a large. Very good condition. Excellent craftsmanship . Measurements: neck=16.5"; pit to pit=24; sleeve (top of shoulder seam to bottom of cuff)=25". Asking: $30

Slacks

RLBL NWT 100% Cotton Pants. (** Belonged to my father, but he never wore due to his illness. Made in Italy. Black. Size: waist=38; inseam=39; leg opening=9". As with most RLBL, the pants are on narrow side. Purchased as a gift for my father, but he can't get much use out of them, hence the sale. The pants are NWT, but they have been in my dad's closet for a while and could use a pressing. Retail roughly $400; Asking: $80<$75<$70. Photos out of sequence; see images in # 25-29

Prada Wool Black Dress Slacks. These slacks have been among my go to black slacks. Great fit, comfort and fabric, and very good for travel due to lack of wrinkling. They mold to the body very well as they are primarily wool, but have 3-4% of rubber in them. Very good condition. Measurements: waist=16.5”, inseam=30.5, leg opening=8.5” Asking: $50<$45.

RLP 100% Cotton White Cords. Worn and dry cleaned once. Excellent condition. Measurements: waist=16”, inseam=30” (pants were hemmed; an extra 2” fabric available to lengthen pants if necessary), leg opening=8.5” Orig price $100. Asking: $35<$30.

Borrelli Summer 100% Cotton pants. Flat front. Size 48/32 (US). Muted and verstaile shade of organe. Worn less than 5 X'a. Exquisite craftsmanship and detailing. Measurements: waist=16.5”, inseam=32, leg opening=7.5” Orig price $650. Asking: $80.

Saks Store Line 100% Cotton Khaki's Pants. Never worn. Measurements: waist=16”, inseam=32, leg opening=9” Orig price $100. Asking: $20<$18.

Marina Yachting 100% Cotton Pants. ( I don't know much about the maker, so please research if interestd) Flat front. Made in Italy. Nice fabric, decent construction. Given to me as a gift. I've never wore the pants, but I had them hemmed. Asking: $20

Brioni 100% Linen pants. Pleated. I've had these for a couple of seasons. They are timelessly elegant; very Gatsby like. I generally wear with button down shirt and blue sportcoat. Pleated. Image and measurements to follow.

Brooks Brothers 100% Cotton Pants. (**belonged to my brother). Size 35 X 32. Nice weight. Great for fall and winte. Rarely worn based on their appearance and my knowledge of his style. They were probably a gift. Would look great with fall sweater and Barbour jacket.

Sorry to hear about your dad, and best wishes for him. FWIW, I think you have a typo in the description of #1 (or else I'm misunderstanding what you're measuring) -- 31" for the seam-to-cuff sleeve length seems way off.
