I have found John Lobb to be my favorite shoe maker. I have owned several pairs of both JL and Edward Green and prefer JL's aesthetic especially when it comes to the double monk. What is your go to brand?

I love the aesthetic of EG and C&J, but Alden and to a lesser extent Trickers fit my feet better

I've never seen a shoe fit my foot the way that G&G did.

Tie between handgrade C&J and Carmina.

That being said, a lot of that has to do with geography and me being able to obtain these brands. I don't have access to try on Vass or some of the other brands, but I'm happy enough with C&J and Carmina that I'm not overly bothered by this.
