Has anyone tried this? You guys think tailors still able to do this?

Yes. New and Lingwood sells detachable collar RTW. They also have a bespoke shirt department.
Ergo, they should be able to produce detachable collar custom shirts.

I had a tux shirt made collarless. I actually gave them a Brooks Brothers detachable collar formal shirt to copy.

Given how unusual it is, they will probably need lots of instructions (pictures, sample shirts, whatever).

Try legal tailors. Ede & Ravenscroft, or that place in middle temple.

Yes, most of the bespoke shirtmaker still doing it. Especially HK shirtmakers, since many lawyers still wearing it.
I have few shirts made by Ascot Chang using detachable collars.

Legal tailors near Chancery Lane do a lot of the detachable collar stuff.

not difficult at all.
the only issue is getting the band and collar to fit correctly.
bring a sample collar with you to the fitting.
