Alden chocolate suede summer Plain Toe Bluchers 8.5D
I bought these last week from the Alden shop in DC. Unfortunately, I've concluded that these are simply too big. I plan on going back to buy the same pair in 8E, but first I wanted to recoup some of my costs and pass on a beautiful pair of shoes sold out mostly everywhere.
I got these last Saturday. Wore them on Sunday and twice to work this past week. These shoes are a dark brown suede, a versatile color that will fly with a dark grey or navy suit during the week or with jeans or chinos on the weekend. Dress em up, dress em down. A few normal scuffs from a few days of wear, but these shoes have a lifetime ahead of them.
Comes with Alden Box, unused Alden shoe bags, an extra set of dark laces, extra set of light brown laces, and an extra set of thicker mustard colored laces for casual use (all alden laces).
Paid $488 (461 w/o tax), asking for 425 shipped.
