localman - that's one of the best iteration of the Guidi combat boots i've seen.

sinnedk - great to see you adopting the CCP boots. check out the leather on Notorious' CCP boots on SZ's classified. i'm not sure about the sole but the leather is evident of very high quality products CCP puts out and I'm a big fan of.

thanks i've seen those,

the leather ccp uses is super thick from what i hear and as dmash put it almost uncomfortable to wear...

honestly i am really antsy right now and want something from one of the following layer-0/ma+/a1923/ccp but ccp is on the high end of things and then if it is ccp my dilemma is cordovan vs bison where i really like the bison graining but knw that cordovan is stronger #luxuryproblems

i can't speak for the CCP boots but my CCP derby in cordovan is by far the best fitting and comfortable derby i've own. it is just as comfortable as the MA+ derby in soft calf/cow leather.

as for which is "stronger" between cordovan and bison, i'm not sure how to answer this comparison for you. i think bison and cordovan is on par in terms of thickness and quality of leather. you just need to decide on grain and breathability, etc. some of the bison items i've seen from CCP makes me lust after!
