sometimes it's not appropriate to wear boots (e.g. with navy or black trousers), and some of us just don't like sneakers - but also don't wanna wear our dress shoes cos they're just too formal. I like derbies in these scenarios

I dont know man none of these derbies carpe, ccp, augusta are something I'd ever consider buying because they always look better in boot form but hey that's just me. I can't picture any context where these would look better or be preferred.

The only way I prefer derbies is with like cotton/linen cropped pants

OK, more A1923 derbys!

I would wear these everyday in the office and just not worry about beating them to the ground (right?)

I like either ankle boots or backzips most. For me, I like how easy/fast it is to put on back zips but since I don't tuck, ankle boots can look more interesting I find.
The drawback for derbies is that wearing with slim jeans/pants, the hems don't sit on top of the derbies as nice and it shoes a bit of the socks which I dpn't really like.

derbies are great for spring summer, long ass shaft boot is not great to me in that scenario. Plus, I just think they are ideal for the most relaxed outfits as you said. I do agree that boots always look a bit better, but still. derbs are cool

Not much in my size... Some great deals. Mainly A1923 shoes/boots, no Guidi. Nice collection overall.
