Nope- It's destroyed horse HD01 color 9 (black). Black with brown underneath. The leather was conditioned recently at FJ Western.

How does Guidi fit?

Considering both pairs on Suspensionpoint

I am a US 8.5/9 depending on shoe width

runs small you need a 43 most likely.

Soo many Guidi stockiest now- Suspension Point looks very cool too.

47=45, so 43=41, no?

IMO 1-1.5 sizes up. I always felt with Guidi(s) being so unstructured, they are meant to fit a little bit at first.

When I tried on some Guidi at H. Lorenzo the fits on all them seemed ver different the back zips being ridiculously narrow and the 995 seeming to be of a somewhat normal width. I'm typically a 44 and when I tried on the reverse stag 995 in a 46 it fit pretty well but left me wondering if a 45 would be perfect. Unfortunately they didn't have a 45 in stock. The kangaroo derbies (style 16) that I tried on and that fit perfect were size 45.

So ultimately I would say that it depends on the shoe or boot.

Actually this leaves me wondering if anyone knows the different lasts that Guidi uses and which footwear is made on which last? It would seem that the derby and the 995 could be the same last, no?

Maybe no one knows but I can't help but to ask.

These are my favorite pair I own :inlove:

Mine were really tight on my instep until I wore them around a bit, now they fit great and are unbeatable. Sick boots.

btw thanks for input on that other pair recently, I decided to get them.

by your description it sounds a bit like he had this Augusta elastic boot: laced up like this:
i was told a lot of people do that with the elastic boot
however also comes to mind this MA+ backzip in white:
the lace part of your comment throws me off a bit
all boots are here: http://shop.hlorenzo.com/

Had a look through and I don't think it was any of those, possibly an older season? There is a white lace tied around near the top, and no elastic straps or anything. I did take a picture (sorry, it's pretty bad and may not help) though:

Crosspost from WAYWT, junhashimoto reverse waxed horse after about a year of wear
Wax treatment is still holding up on most of the shoe, but parts with wear are giving way to the reverse horse underneath

I think that's it! Great find, guess I couldn't really see the eyelets from a distance so my initial description probably wasn't extremely accurate. Yeah they looked stunning in that ivory bone colour
