Atelier will be missed....

Damn Amadei for discontinuing the back zips. I'm going to have to either create gold through alchemy or self some stuff to get a pair in time.

Secondly, Uzairh, are you saying Atelier is closing?

truth, apparently fok caught word

Do I have any hope of finding some Carpes (even the Jun versions) to fit 38/39, or should I just content myself with ordering a couple of pairs of Guidis?

Carpe made shoes in female sizes, I've seen some on Yahoo auctions. They usually got for cheaper, too

Anyone with any of the waxed carpes or juns got any advice on what to use to re wax?

Pretty sure Carpe footwear in womens sizes had codes that end in an 'F' instead of 'M'.

Razele, I don't think they were intended to be rewaxed. Just worn through to the under layer. Beauty in decay, wabi sabi, etc.

By the way, what cobbler do you use? I've tried a few and settled on Cobblers Two on Roma street. Easily the best service and friendliest guys I've come across.

Can anyone recommend a cobbler I can go to in Los Angeles to get vibram put on shoes?
HTC I'd imagine

Hollywood Trading Company?http://www.htclosangeles.com/

They probably didn't intend that you vibram them either man

But everyone does that

I've got a couple old pair that need some love, if anyone has any experience with re waxing let me know

In Los Angeles, I would do Willie's or Eddie's shoe repair. Best combination of expert service and fair pricing.

Anyone get through to Atelier? I read that there are huge lines and they are not answering phone calls / emails (i tried). Sucks that the store is closing down, i always wanted to visit.
