THE OFFICIAL "streetwear" BALLER BOOT/SHOE THREAD ***700usd Min*** - Page 572

Eton, I am not sure. It could have been not horse.  I can try to find out, just for curiosity's sake.

^ the Yoox photos don't do the boot justice. Best photos online are probably from the Neighbor online store. even then i don't think it captures how great the vamp, toe shape, and sole is. completely different than what is usually posted here but retail is well over $700 if that matters.

I will try to post photos ASAP

How I imagined MMM side zips to be like, but I think the shape of Lemaire's boot is much nicer. I think the shoes have a blake welt due to the slimmer profile/sole.I can feel the stitching inside the sole. It would be cool if they were GY but I doubt it. Made in Portugal

They literally cannot be GY, sole is too close to the upper. Blake and its variants is just a way to get a sole that doesn't protrude for a sleeker profile, not an inferior technique.

Thinking about buying some guidi back zips ankle height. But I cant decide between horse or calf. Will one age better than the other over a few years?

Also I'm a size 10 in redwing and clarks. Should i go with a 45?

I would go full grain horse ( i have the calf and crave more structure) 45 will be roomy and you will need insole. If you have wide feet fo 45. Otherwise 44 or 44.5 should be ok. Calf streched more then horse. I uped 2 suzes cause i have wide feet and use superfeet insoles

Since people usually size down .5-1 full size for redwings and clarks is your true size an 11? If so I'd go with a 45, if not 44 would probably be best.

Yeah. I'm a true size 11 so im thinking 45 or 44.5 (not sure they do half sizes)

Thanks guys. I'll post pics when I get em
