THE OFFICIAL "streetwear" BALLER BOOT/SHOE THREAD ***700usd Min*** - Page 564

I don't think it's really a toecap, it was just pre-creased in there so that is where it bends, it is slowly going away though and I though NN might have started that way too but even then, I am not sure I'll get those crease in the toe since I probably do not put my shoe to as much stress and adventures as NN does.

Nah man its a toe cap

You can order any guidi's with or without a toe cap

I have one pair with and one pair without

Your pair obviously has a toe cap, you can see it in the photos

I was originally quoted $300 for the repairs, which is well on the way to a new pair of shoes. The leather had to be reinforced in multiple places, eyelets reinforced, along with the new sole and heel. The place I brought it too was amazing - did it for half that, and also reinforced some stitching and somehow fixed some of the worse damage on the surface

Yeah, mine have no toe caps and the leather is extremely soft. I had toe indentations from the first day of wear. I definitely prefer the toe cap look, but these are so soft I think it works alright.

Toe cap makes them more durable, doesn't it? I believe most of the boots in this thread will last decades even without any proper care.

They also have a different model number I think they add a letter to the model as an indicator.

toe cap or not the shoes should last a while. The only diff is the way the boots will crease really.

No toe cap will mold to feet a bit better but no structure.

Special order if you can or get something else. You can pay about $1,000 less for IS, m.a+, Layer-0, etc.

I asked about special order: denied.

Do you know anywhere else that may do it?

agreed, 2490 + tax + shipping (depending where you are) = way too much.

@fistinyoface, from what i recall Eck has tried contacting a1923 directly and its basically tumbleweeds.

Stores may be able to get a special order but i think thats also ver questionable and knowing simone's knack for being on time your boot may arrive in FW 2020

Adding on to that: Has anyone ever had a customer order done by Simone?
