guidi prices have been going up for a while now. $800 would of been a good buy 2 years ago.

kinda disagree with the Yohji/ gunboat advice.

The lightness in its volume and flow just clashes with a heavy euro gunboat.

Few years ago I realized that I have been wearing shoes too tight, just like I do when I played soccer, and have gone up half size in everything, with gave me some breathing room. Sometimes I wonder if I am wearing shoes in a correct size. Especially with Guidi, I heard that they were supposed to fit like a sock, but I have a full room to wiggle my toes and definitely can wear a chunky pair of socks in the winter (which is a plus living in Minnesota). Not sure if I am doing it wrong..

I wouldn't wear them like a sock I wear all my shoes like you, boots, sneakers, everything...since I was younger, playing sports for 5 hours is not a good to be wearing tight shoes your going to get hot feet. But everyone's different so I think it's really more of a preference thing than actual "way" to do things.

1K is a fair price for pair of new Guidi 995 in Horse?
about right i think you may be able to find them 50-100 cheaper but it will take some digging check with PN/P and Hide-M
post #8008 of 13643
