Can someone tell me what CD model this is, so that I might better add it to my list of "things to lust after but never find in my size or actually purchase"?

yes- S45M is probably the most common one that pops up in pics. There is is also a cap toe derby and IIRC a slip on type derby/shoe (maybe this was Linea?)

I believe the item code is S24M for cap toes and S45M for regular.

Be wary, as, in my experience, as the instep is so low you may need to size up.

S24M is a boot:

In that case, I can't remember. There's also a laceless derby and clogs. Item codes unknown.

I like this grey pair a lot.

Is it advised to use shoe trees for these boots? confused.gif

The soles are intentionally curved upwards. Don't people use shoe trees to prevent this from happening to their dress shoes? Would the usage of shoe trees affect the boots negatively, or positively in any way? Would shoe trees extend the life of the boots? Does it affect the appearance when worn? Does it just boil down to preference? I'm confused

It's up to you. I wouldn't use shoe trees or shoe care products at all. Those boots aren't dress shoes and are not supposed to look new.
