So you blame a guy who posts good info, asks good questions and generally doesn't start **** unless stupid people try to be cool on the Internet? Makes perfect sense.

Just take a second to see who initiates 98% of these so called ***** fights. And no, quoting a photo of an item that you like isn't initiating anything - it happens hundreds of times per day here.

Really nice boots brad. And the pants have a cool vibe as well.

those augustas are damaged or something is wrong with them, one shaft is an inch taller than the other. they've been there forever...

Yeah it is a bit suspect. Also, the leather looks kinda thin and papery.. lots of small creases. Anyone here owned or handled a pair of Augusta's in Kangaroo?

I kinda dig the older Augusta styles.. they're very simple. Hoping I can either find a pair like these in gray (or one that I could dye to gray):

I have heard that kangaroo is like that - it can be cut very thin because it's the strongest leather known. That's why it makes for really good summer shoes.

condition on those looks pretty bad. idk if it's just the material, but overall 750 is very high, even if it's cdiem.

Obviously without seeing all the stitching etc it's hard to be sure, but the condition looks fine to me - in my experience from having owned various CDiem footwear including reversed calf and destroyed horse, I would guess the leather probably looked like that or very close to it from new. I'm not sure about the soles or heels, but I would've thought with TLC they would probably give many years of wear. $750 seems a decent price to me.
