THE OFFICIAL "streetwear" BALLER BOOT/SHOE THREAD ***700usd Min*** - Page 459

Razele has good points. Frankly, the prices reflect the demand, of which there is plenty.....

Also, A1923 is using different (read better) processes for manufacturing and more hand stitching, especially for the welt. Plus the comfort factor is also higher SS13 onwards. All this drives up the prices.

There is some awesome news about A1923 that I will share in a couple of days. I am sure most here will be very happy smile.gif

Yes the discount model to fuel artificial prices is pretty much the standard for e-commerce. Groupon is most notorious at creating artificial economies. However, based on that thought, Simone is raising prices to all time highs so that the sale prices end up being roughly what he wanted for the shoe to begin with. IDK how much i believe that because a1923 is notorious for not caring about the business side of being in fashion. Examples are a1923 not responding to emails, being notoriously late on delivery and being hard to work with over all. I have heard that from various merchants that had to work with a1923 directly. If Simone did change some of his business practices and started caring more about his business then maybe the artificial price inflation is what he is doing. Who knows. But as his prices rise, i will personally start looking towards layer-0 for a lace-up boot and CCP for cool zip ups. Additionally, it seems like those brands sustain the prices.

I think people are buying them. You probably wouldn't raise prices that much unless you perceived strong price elasticity in your customer base.

right, of course they dont care about pricing

those green ones a page back are a great shape and color, just not a fan of the derby like seam to the welt

I've owned other kudu leather boots, but they've tended to have thinner, flimsier leather (and tended to be, well, significantly less expensive) . The depth of color on these is impressive, too. Absolutely perfect.

Would love to see some fit pics!
