each stitching is different on each style, ask the store to send you a pic in the exact size you want smile.gif

Better than the normal cordovan?

matter of taste. cordovan full grain is smooth and clean. cordovan cont is decent reverse AND clean. google "guidi cordovan cont"

i really like those tall lace ups, how did you size them?
I'm a US 11, and those boots are a 45. C, I got your PM but I don't have a tape measure right now, so based on my own experience, I'd just say size up two. I probably should have taken a 46, is what I mean - pretty low toebox

I size up by at least 1.5 on Guidis.

thanks fellas!

i know for backzips i sized up 2 but heard laceups can be a bit diff but you guys confirmed its the same thing

I sized up 2 for sidezips, and they were way too big, sized up 1 on 995s and they're perfect. Try them on, or get an idea, or find a place with a good return policy.

I'm a true 44.5 (28.5 cm foot) and since most guys recommend sizing up 1.5 to 2 in Guidi, I'd want a size 46. Now, what confuses me is that my perfectly fitting sneakers measure 12", while Guidi's in size 46 (which people claim is my size) measure 12.5". Aren't the Guidi's gonna be too long or do boots in general have a longer outsole than sneakers?

Thanks

Edit: just saw TW's post above

I'm a US9/42 and my 44's are definitely a bit longer than my other shoes/boots, but the rest is tight -- feet don't slide at all.

i went up 2 and actually probably could have gone up 2.5 whatever that means.

I've heard that depending on the leather, lace-up vs zip it ranges from sizing 1-2 sizes up.

I'm a US9/42 and my 43s fit, what I would describe as 'just right' with a bit of room in the toe and the rest is tight until it broken in and stretched to comfortable.

Had to actually switch to hiking boot (thicker) socks once it broke-in to get a better fit.

I tried the 44 at Archive grey ankle in donkey and they fit me pretty much perfectly. Im normally a 9/42 in boots and 9.5 in shoes/sneakers.

guys, i think we need to start the official guidi sizing thread, i swear this question comes up more often than anything else in this thread
post #6824 of 13330

I wear a 41 in Raf/CP sneakers and 42 Guidis (outsole length 11'8" / 30 cm) fits very well.

Wow. Thanks for all the replies guys.
I'm looking at the lace up models so I guess a 46 (up 1.5-2 sizes) should fit me after all.

Now on to decide what leather and color I like the best...
