Hello guys, Im thinking of placing a custom order for Guidi 995s and have several questions. I would be really grateful if someone could give me a few pointers

Firstly, I've been advised to take a size 41 (UK 7) by the shop. I can't physically go try a pair because they arnt any stockists for Guidi within a reasonable distance from my place of residence. I wear sz 39 dress shoes, sz 40 Lanvin sneakers. The boots I have which fits me best atm measures 28.5cm on the outsole.

Im also going for reverse leather, and I was wondering what's the difference between Horse, Llama, Stag, Bison, Calf, Kangaroo. etc. Anyone has any preference, and why? Im leaning towards Horse atm

Add proxy fees + shipping to that.
It's their first collection.... Promising start.

Honestly i think is a winner design- Classy like MA+ backzips but a bit more crease prone like guidi's a combo of my two fave backzips in one boot. The sizing is weird they seem to run 2 sizes bigger. I sent an email about shipping but i guess it might be risky to buy without any reviews on quality/comphort?

2 sizes bigger? wtf...

Yes, some Guidi are in fact 2 sizes smaller. For example these ones below. Some though, run true to size. If the shop advises to buy 2 sizes bigger, I would follow that advice.

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v80), quality = 85

sz 42 outsole is 32.5 cm long and 11 cm wide
Sz 43- 33.5 long, 11.5 wide - giant for a round toe box boot!

Did you check the insole measurements?

They are still available in a few different sizes with other stockists and selling fast! PM me if you want the info.

Layer-0 special edition derbies with a gorgeous box! Saw them at Maxfield earlier this year.

Same as Maxfield's, cordovan on the non-reverse side. Reverse cordovan was also available. I'd be surprised if a " goodyear boot " did not follow soon...
