Here are a couple of pics I took today of Guidi 995 in Donkey I just received. They may be a touch small though. Not sure if I'm going to Vibram them and see if they work out or just throw them back up on the old chopping block. One thing is for sure though: I do love the style of this boot.

Barney's Madison Ave always more models in store than online- you have call the actual store.
I'd want the front zip model with the 2 zipper heads (one on each end)- not sure which one Barney's has.

I'm pretty sure they had a two-zip version, but I could be mistaken (not interested in this model).

The weird half-zip on each side boots are a beautiful scarred leather. They also just got those new sneakers with the two snap pulls, no laces, in a beautiful reddish black. Also a new white boot.

I need more money, :(.

I'm wondering if Barneys will stock some of the clothing items coming this fall?

My first pair of Augusta's. Bought these used on eBay. They seem quite old (see old August logo). And they've got a fair bit of wear on them (and weren't vibram'd unfortunately) but it doesn't seem to severe.. heels only have a slight edge worn off. Really love the leather on these - I'd been looking for a lighter brown / chestnut type color for a while but never thought I'd find a pair I liked, much less in a quality brand. The leather is quite thick but also very supple - bends quite easily - and has some nice creasing and wear. Although some of that could have been in the original treatment. Certainly the bluish tinge on the leather looks like it was part of the original design.

Sizing.. this almost killed it for me. They're marked size 42 but they're much larger.. I wear a size 9.5 / 43 and these fit more like a 44 (12.5" outsole). At first I was a bit disappointed cause they felt too large but after putting a pair of slightly thicker sneaker insoles in, they felt pretty good. Still had that feeling of 'these look too large on me in the mirror cause I'm used to smaller shoes', but after looking at the pics they look pretty normal actually.

Here are some pics, including fit pics - which you all should post more of :).

What do you guys think of the quality of Paul Harnden shoes/boots? I missed out on the Balmoral boots sometime back and it seems that his shoes are hard to come by online. Any leads on where I could get my hands on one?

Do all Guidi side and back-zips have the same toebox profile?

No they do not, but the differences are quite small in terms of profile. There is one version with an inner toe-cap (so slightly more structured) and one without.

And speaking of Guidi, I haven't posted this group shot yet:
