THE OFFICIAL "streetwear" BALLER BOOT/SHOE THREAD ***700usd Min*** - Page 421

To the dude getting married in the desert, I think you are on the right track there. The thin soles and unlined leather seem appropriate for a hot, natural climate. I'd stay away from the thick chunky soles and boots that are the normal stuff of this thread smile.gif.

I'd even suggest going further into sandal territory in the high end brands. Maybe some Guidi slippers?

Or a woven version if you wanna go real crazy

Hey fellas! Just got my first guidis 986 in black from aussie store called camargue. They were on sale for 400plus shippin. Got hit by 33% duties and taxes (canada) but still great price. Check the store they still might have some. sizes left

How do Guidi combat boots fit compared to the backzips?

The 995 are soft toe. I have been told u size up 1 or 2 sizes up with guidi. I did 2 up. Fits good but it will stretch and i will add an insole then. If u r in US or Can there will be duties/taxes

Picked up a pair of the browns. Size 44. Would like to see a photo, but figured one of you guys might snipe them so I just rolled the dice.

I agree, they are awesome, but AW13 A1923 lace-ups are really good, better than the IS IMO, but then they are more expensive.

Plus, there are a few non-footwear items that I have my eye on smile.gif

Typo?
unfortunately not. US 13 puts me in that neighborhood for guidi, no?
Oh, sorry. FWIW I am a 43 in most shoes and usually a 42.5 in boots and the backzips in 44 are too big for me. Will probably have to flip them. I have narrow heels though. But you might find a 47 to be okay, especially with stretch.
