jona is looking good. will be interesting to see how well his derbies sell. I don't think his footwear get's the respect it deserves.

These augusta derbies (43) are very well priced:

They are well made, comfortable, etc, (made by Layer-0, after all), but I have not been too impressed with everything I have seen so far, And the heels on them are a complete deal breaker for me. Their tall boots were the best of the bunch, and I know they have them for AW13 also. Plus the same derby in black, IIRC.

I find the regular Layer-0 line to be better all around, including being cheaper!

i like the shape of the inaisce better than layer-0.

Augusta for Atelier from 2008, I believe. The leather changes color slightly in places, when activated by heat. eek.gif (you can see it a bit on the heel portion in the second photo)

Thermic Horse leather was boss- I hope we see some of these again in the future.

Had a small problem with my new Augusta derbyz (posted pic a couple of pages ago). Took them back, and the shop exchanged them for a new pair.
The same model wasn't available so I got the new style with the blue trainer laces in thick horse.
Dyed the laces black last night.
Much better.
....and much prefer the shoe ;-)

Need to dye my laces too
They actually work really well dyed black. Prefer the look to standard string laces (and too the original pale blue)

/\ What problem did you have?
Pulled up the laces to tighten, and the lace sliced through the eyelet.
But this new shoe also seems to have a deeper heel cup which means my foot and heal stay in the shoe when I walk, which didn't happen on the original pair.
I've had this problem of a low cup on both CCP and Augusta. Both have been remedied with newer versions.

Not so thick horse then!

just need some derbies and then I can be done with black footwear.
