Are these CDiem replicas? By Japanese brand Attack the mind 7, which is a sub-brand of AKM. These shoes are made in Bangladesh but are supposedly really great quality.




I ask because the item code begins with "CDM" I wonder how many brands have the rights to use this design ...

those look so cheap and terrible... calling those replicas would be an insult to the originals. they're basically cheap fakes.

I don't think they are THAT bad. Retail would be a huge stretch for me, but for 200-300 bucks might not be bad!

I think the biggest thing for me is I feel like if they came in anything other than a glossy black colorway the lack of refinement in the design will be noticeably compounded.

Keep an eye on yoox. The derbies popped up around a month ago for like $600, so maybe you'll get lucky.

Looks like a regular combat style boot. Not sure if they were trying to pay homage to Altieri with them.

it's not surprising that japanese brands want to recreate their own version of cdiem, it's basically an obsession with many japanese people (including me), but the only "legit" one is wjk. still waiting for a pair of hardly-used cdiem to magically pop up on yahoo.jp in my size though.

Some Officine Creative side-zips. I know OC has a bad rep with some here but I have a pair and they seem quite well made. Although at MSRP they do seem overpriced (isn't everything though?).

I'm placing an order tomorrow for a pair of boots from the IS lineup last season (these, specifically). Korea is a barren wasteland, so I can't get a feel for the sizing in person.

Would anyone who has handled the pieces care to confirm that I should get the 42 if I'm a true 43? Apparently it runs large, but I don't know if it's a narrow enough thing to just get the 43 and wear an insole if the sizing is out of sync.
