Someone at LN-CC doesn't know what they're talking about.
Lined with cordovan leather? That would be about the worst idea ever. Cordovan hardly breathes at all, it would be horrid to wear.
Sole made out of cordovan? No shoemaker would use cordovan for soling leather. It would be such a waste of expensive leather.
Horse is a better choice than cordovan for a zip boot anyway.
