Their most famous lasts are downright chunky by SF standards. Budapester, 3636, banana etc etc.

That boot that you showed in your pic is on the U last, which stands for Ugolini, the Italian shoemaker. The F and U lasts were made in collaboration with Ugolini who wanted a sleek rtw shoe for the Japanese shoe market.

You pay a premium for vass because of the superior build quality.
