may sound funny but i saw many pairs that look exactly like this in harajuku going for about half the price (still not cheap). i could be completely wrong and ignorant, but judging by looks alone it certainly does not look like a "hand made in italy" product. maybe i've been looking too much at ma+, augustas and diors, but this one is not that much cheaper...i believe you can get a guidi for around the same price

well thing is i tried these on and they fit and look great, construction looks good and i am in the midst of getting these for hopefully $300 less than the sale tag, if thats the case then its def worth it...

not a fan of those at all. The antiquing makes them look cheap and there's a lot of unnecessary stitching/details.

Your tired routine isn't funny, otter, nor was it ever.

And those Varvatos are ugly. Mainline quality is decent (around PS level), Star is shit. Have heard some people complain about them being uncomfortable

If those are your size, save up and buy them ASAP. Those are some of the best boots Simone ever made. Really hard to find and you definitely won't be disappointed in construction/material. I'm biased though as I've wanted those for over a year.

I decided to buy the ones from A but found out that they only had 44s when I called (I wear a 45/46). Oh well, I'm in no hurry.

They should fit a little big, if you're a 45 you should be able to swing it. If you're more of a 46 then no.

Yeah, that's why I said you should hop on it! Those are veryyy hard to find and are awesome!

OTOH, my Julius combats are finally getting shipped to me today. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Are you saying that the lace-ups fit big or that Augustas in general fit big? My only point of comparison is the pair of cordovan backzips at the Archive in sz. 45. They fit just about perfectly but I definitely wouldn't want them any smaller.
I meant just in general shoe sizing. As in if you're a 45 in other shoes, a 44 in Augusta may work for you. If you're actually a 45 in other Augusta, you'll probably be a 45 in those too.

The oiled horse tall lace up has a semi crushed toebox- he may need a 46.
