E when they going to bring something back like those Z9s that I dream out? Those Atelier specials from AW10.........I don't understand why he doesn't release something like that every season. Just a solid shaped, black, horse or calf lace up. Would be a guaranteed seller..

They're probably bespoke. T4phage has a collection of bespoke Anthony Delos - considered by some to be the best shoemaker in the world.

afaik, t4 only wears bespoke footwear.

they do not look like delos. he did a lot with bestetti, though.

imo, it's hard to define the best maker. delos is definitely on top.

I'm sure Atelier can request to have it produced again- They'd probably have to buy a full size run.

eck, stopped by Barney's today, the front zips they have are indeed the two-zip version; just thought you might like to know if you wanted to try to scoop them up when they go on sale.

Thanks buddy!

I will have to seriously consider them when sale time comes.

out of curiosity did you happen to see any other augustas or even buttero models?

the scarred culatta demands to be paired with a very specific aesthetic in order to look good, but when done right I believe it can look very good.

the way it was posted before was horrid. i think heavily stacked and distressed slim fit jeans are a must, or twisted seam pants. and add a long top, or considerable layering.
I don't think the key is so much stacked/slim or even j/twisted seam pants. I think having interesting/rough looking textures elsewhere in the fit is what's necessary. Maybe something like this in texture if not the piece though I think it might work though texture might be too matchy matchy. Or something made from jutte/hemp... or something that wrinkles like linen, though summer linen might be too light to fit with Augusta's solid feel, so you might need some thick linen I dunno! But I love texture as it adds another dimension to be enjoyed and tetris'd.
