CUBS- reversed cordovan

What DOES LUC stand for? Just regular cordovan?

I'm taking a wild guess here. but, i think LUC is for Leather (calf lined) Upper Cordovan.

That would be a great guess, because all the LUC description include calf as well.


My other question is what does the L stand for. I thought it standed for 'lined' however I've seen AM/2601L models that are unlined. So that shot down that theory unless the retailers messed up on their descriptions.

no - they are 100% 'stiff and thick as hell' horse leather.......

CUL-PTC is horse cordovan leather used on the scar side (which is its reverse side), vegetable tanned; this kind of natural tanning makes the leather brown, so it can be dyed only with dark colours.

LUC-PTC is the same leather, but used on the regular non-reverse side; same dyeing process as CUL-PTC.

Just a question Chiggah, that could be a very real possibility yet you're calling him out on here AND you posted bad about him on SZ. If he's refunding your money why are you ranting about him being a bad seller? Could of been a legitimate miscommunication/mistake with him and his girl.....?

it could be legitimate but i've told him i will edit the feedback about him once he has refunded.

I am happy to deal with him again, if the buyer for the YY shirt (which i received) sends back the boots to him.
