Would love to see a pair of linen over leather boots beat up with chunks of linen torn off or missing revealing the leather underneath.

So I have a pair of 992 in Kangaroo, and the leather is smooth on all except this left panel on the left shoe, which almost looks like cracks. Is this a flaw on their side, or something happens regularly? The only other pair I have is one-piece 995's and they don't have this problem.

Just impulse bought some Julius boots, same sole and general shape brad-t posted but grey backzip. I've been looking for some winter boots, I think the lugged soles will work!

They're these but in size 4, they were used but maybe just tried on... they looked brand new in the pics. And they were on sale for $350. I might have them dyed black, will have to see what they look like in person.... I'd probably rather have black to begin with but I'd bet I can get them dyed black for less than the $700+ more I would have had to pay for new black ones. IF I could even find them in my size, I got big feet.

New A1923 at Archive:

And the pants are looking better with each season. Now if only they didn't have the selvedge detail on the fly and had back pockets.....

Also, some new Kudu boots (not A1923):

The back part juts out a bit though...

looks to me like the leather is a bit dry, i think putting some saphir on it and brushing may solve the issue. Nevertheless, we have a thread for this: shoe care thread post the pics there, the guys are really knowledgeable and will give you some other ideas if there are any

Actually, it looks like natural variation in the leather. They should have used leather than looked the same as the rest of it, I'd send them back.

That's kind of the fun of Guidi leather, though - there's a lot of natural variations in the leather they use. They're not dress shoes, enjoy the slight imperfections and wear them hard. If you really care about that kind of thing, you need to buy in person or buy shoes from a brand that uses a perfect hide every for every shoe.

I'd love to, except I won't find them anywhere in Minnesota :/

It's just funny I did not notice that for months until today when I took them out to polish them. As long as it's a natural variation not something I caused it, I am fine. Thanks for the input guys :)

Those are cool. I like the shape of the toe a lot.
