You are better off checking the Classifieds for a better deal. You need to figure out your size first. MA+, IMO runs a tad generous. I'd size down one or be prepared to get an insole.

how is the sizing for ccp?

thanks I thought they were tts? I was basing this when I saw eton`s initial fs thread of the same boots over at the other forum where he mentioned they fit tts

so i only had an opportunity to try on a 44 (i am a us 11d) and they were perfect in all ways except toe box was a bit roomy, i prefer that so to each his own, but if you can pop into a store and try some on

Ccp sizing is always a nightmare as all his leather products are object dyed and nobody really knows what will happen to the leather post the dying process. 

Im a sz9 in most horse cordovan ccp footwear, but have to size up on his bison stuff as it seems to shrink more than horse. 

 

Regarding ranking, it just comes down to what rocks your boat.

I prefer the raw and more 'earthy' and structured stuff, so ccp and Augusta are by far my favourite footwear designers.

I also love ma+ but find the more refined finish is less for me. Guidi is bottom of my list as I find the boots are generally too narrow for my feet and far less structured in the toe cap etc
