THE OFFICIAL "streetwear" BALLER BOOT/SHOE THREAD ***700usd Min*** - Page 829

What's so special about IE pants, anyways? The fabric and construction? The cut looks quite ordinary to me. BBS and LUC seem to have more interesting cuts in the "$800 pants" category.

You might want to remove that price talk regarding Holger.

IE pants are minimalist patterns with selvage and raw hems, and a variety of fabrics of visual intreste and coarse texture. Besides, it's hard to find LUC or BBS pants for less than $1k.

Everything's just on point. Cut, material and construction are all superb. Also the last time I checked with Holger a pair runs you 400-550€ depending on material and alterations, which is significantly less than BBS and LUC (it's also where I'd draw the line to completely absurd and inflated prizes).

Also I would stay away from serie noire, they charged me for a jacket and never shipped anything, claimed I never paid them, I had to file a claim with AMEX and then serie noire sent me nasty emails for weeks. These Guidi's are seriously great debating between these and the painted A1923s

Hide-m/Holger have great service.

Sorry to hear about your experience with Serie but I purchased from them a couple of times and no problem at all. I wish email exchange would of been a bit faster but thats ok because they had great prices. I wouldn't knock em, i am sure that it was a simple mistake.

Yeah they have good prices. The problem wasn't that it was a mistake, it was how it was handled, they called me a liar even after sending them proof. I'm sure they didn't receive the money and the problem was their bank, but there was no assistance from them at all. Helps to preorder like Eton and eck were saying, I bought some SFTM FW14-15 at a large discount from cruvoir alike 4 months ago. Its understable that it would work that way, if you preorder the shop has very little risk in buying and your items aren't taking up store space. Its a game of personalities I guess, I get along with some and with others (ahem Campbell ahem) I get no where.

@smashwindow If the guidi weren't the metal enhanced version, I'd say go with them. Otherwise the A1923.

Re: IE Pants- The cut/fabric (for me). He needs to find some washi. The pants are slim but not restricting. LUC is often painted on my calves when going TTS but I still like to try foo.gif

Re: Special Pricing/Disc & Special Treatment- Build relationships with the Stores (spend money there, even if means paying full retail) & stop emailing them for images and measurements if you truly have no intention to buy. Believe it or not they are aware who all the flakers & bs'ers are & are likely not to take you seriously. Pre-Ordering does not ensure a disc all the time.

@smashwindow There is a painted double zip coming in SS15 that looks rad if you want to go that route.

taking price out of the equation as they're both similar in price, I like IE for its construction and fabric. Luc also has some great fabric. But the seams always seem to blow. And that's sizing up one.
