So now the online customers are idiots, who will get gouged the 5% fee? Wow.
Stores like this don't deserve any business.

Yeah it does seem funny, although they explained that fee as a GB taxFree (i.e a gvmt tax of some sort) ..

Vertice was not bad, gave good sizing recc, helped me get the package out of a customs black hole too. Only problem is they don't reduce the marked value so I got hit by customs. I know Moo had issues, but knowing him he probably isn't the easiest guy to work with.

My IS by Individual Sentiments boots finally showed up (thank you, Holger/Hide-M); I ordered the wrong size. These are sz40 & I need the 41 : ( . Any US 7/7.5 get at me for a deal of a lifetime. :nodding:

Construction is amazing, leather treatment is epic. Leather is sourced from Guidi I believe. Cousin to the famous Cdiem S52M workboot

You need a sz 42. Japanese retail is roughly 140,000-150,000 yen & US retail will be about 1600-1800usd.

Just about to order guidis from vertice! You guys happy with their service? Thx

i had a terrible experience with vertice, which i think i've related in this thread before. they shipped me a damaged pair of guidis, denied that they were damaged even when i sent them photos, then begrudgingly offered me only a store credit-- rather than a full refund-- if i shipped them back on my own dime. i had to open a cc chargeback. if there are other stores you can work with to get the boots you want, i'd recommend steering clear of vertice.

The ****? Don't drag my name through the mud if you don't know what the **** you're talking about.

Just so everyone is on the same page - I ordered a pair of boots; they were too small; I returned them within their returns period; they gave store credit instead of refund; I opened CC dispute, and after two appeals, I finally won. Sound familiar? Then, "mysteriously", I had lots and lots of credit card fraud issues that were stemming from (can you believe it?) London, according to my CC company. Account hacked, etc. etc. Yeah, I may hold people to high standards when I spend lots of money with them, but Vertice is a ************* store by all accounts.
