I've quite liked about half of the Marsell models that I've seen, but they're just not of the same calibre as the other lines mentioned.

a lot of the shoes/boots in this thread seem to fall into a very similar aesthetic, is it alright to discuss other aesthetics? prepared to get flamed out of this thread right quick, lol. visvim trickers

Not a fan of that style of sole or broguing personally, but no feel welcome to post whatever floats your boat.

Fiorentini + Baker is a nice manufacturer, they keep the unique design, good quality and affordable prices. Far better than Frye IMO. http://www.farfetch.com/shopping/men...-10071147.aspx - love these

The inspiration behind any Fiorentini and Baker collection cannot be attributed to a particular theme or event and certainly does not conform to any trend. It evolves from a subconscious process, sparked by an old piece of furniture, a film or a peculiar piece of architecture. An equally important strand of the Fiorentini and Baker philosophy is the use of quality materials. One-off pieces of vintage fabrics soft, supple leather and velvet smooth suede adorn the shoes and boots. It’s these characteristics, combined with an uncompromising attention to detail that has become the signature of every Fiorentini and Baker collection.

None of those are mine, i got the pics from the vass thread on mc.

oh and otter you fuckwit, vass makes the (somewhat arbitrary) $700 cutoff. fine if u dont like them, but im sure some others do.

i really like this thread. i am sure there are plenty of >700 boots from non sz brands though, which id like to see since sz boots wouldnt look good with what most people here wear.

lol after reading this, I change my mind about the cover on Small's website being satirical Loved the DBSS boots, some of the nicest footwear I've ever handled in person I think my Boss boots count in this thread ($825 retail, iirc) Tried to find pics of the Augusta monkfish that SoCal had, but either my google-fu is lacking tonight or they got deleted and there are a number of iterations of the Buttero 1119s that are too numerous to post (not the boring black/browns). Moo's American MMMs are pretty nice too
