Guys.
Need some help.
I'm driving myself absolutely mad trying to decide, and my wife won't discuss it anymore.
'They all look the same' pffff...can you believe the attitude.
So. I'm struggling because I adore the new 6hole workboot Eck is about to receive.
I think it's perfection.
But I own a pair of Augusta horse 6 holes already. Very thick horse. Very beautiful.

Would I be mad to sell mine and kop the new version??? or should I stop driving myself and and keep what I have?

Your opinion appreciated.

I know your pain. My girlfriend doesn't understand it either. It's bordering on the vulgar.

Eton, the version you have is beautiful. The new ones aren't coming out with that character anymore. Hold on to them. Never let them go. It'd be one of those Victorian lost loves if you set those suckers free.

Speaking of which, your statement earlier about paring down to six pairs: do you mind if I ask what you're sitting on right now? I'd considered it, but I love collecting way too much. I'm old enough and long term relationship bound, so I've got a bit of freedom and little guilt towards my own gallery. Maybe in the future...

does anybody have any fit pic of the augusta derby that Sergey-Seven on sufu is selling?

My current line up;
1) CCP bison derbyz
2) Augusta horse derbyz
3) Augusta 6 hole workboot (above)
4) Augusta all black bufallo sneaker
5) Augusta oiled horse double zip
6)

Ummmm. Down to 5.....

But can't deny I'm rethinking CCP black dipped.

And trust me. The old collection was large probably 12-15 pairs

I can't imagine how they made them more brittle, try working the conditioner into the boots a little more. My Guidis soak it up. They're a matte color while it dries, but if you want the shine back you can buff it with a cloth after polishing.

Depending on how they're dyed, Guidis will lose a little bit of their color naturally, it's part of the fun of owning a boot like this. Let the color variations seep through and enjoy it, should give a nice texture to the boots. My drum-dyed Guidis lost a lot of color tones and are turned the base color (black) while my hand-dyed Guidis have their natural colors starting to seep through. I think it looks great.

Heaps of information if you can sift through the trash... FWIW I'd never condition my artisinal footwear. Doesn't need it

Pardon me if I misunderstood, but it seems to me that these two comments are saying opposite things ?_?

No no no. That's cheating bro. Can't do that.
1 pair only. These or the new ones....

Thinking black dipped. Owned a lovely pair before but sold them.

^^ i admire ur will power bud wink.gif. I would not be able to decide based on pics alone. Need to see and feel. Also liking that same new augusta workboot and in need for lace ups.. The ccp dips do look stunning but would not you have same short lifespan of the "melted condom" dip material as with the ccp sneakers?
