I'd take the A1923 if you don't mind the the off black color

Which guidi leather is durable, good for summer, lightweight, and good for being worn sockless possibly?

i heard a1923 sneakers are super stiff, almost like boots
post #10405 of 12963
Well i like them all for different outfits. Right now the dirty gray BBS are faves as well as all black RO Ramones. Have seen some ridiculously stiff orange augustas at archive but they were more of a miss design wise..

Looks like your only choice is to buy both.

For sneakers, have you guys hear of NIHOMANO? http://www.nihomano.com/#/hello

They're hand-welted in italy and look quite distinctive. Futuristic, sporty, with goth-ninja undertone.

Vertice and H. Lorenzo stock them.

Augusta makes a great sneaker. I also think Rick Owens and Ann Demeulemeester's are really nice.

I am genuinely curious why?

I chose the IS horse boots over the A1923 AW13-14 calf boots as I found the leather, shape and comfort factor better.
Have not handled the A1923 boots in horse yet...

U-

I just lean towards the bulkier shape of A1923; especially w/ a taller shaft. The IS boot just seems too clean to me- almost m.a+ like. I guess just preference really. The 2 IS boots I've owned sat on the shelf "new" for months...

I just noticed the price of the new A1923, ouch

/\ I see your point. It does come down to a personal preference. That's basically what @Synthese rightfully said a few posts back.

I wore mine the moment I could smile.gif
The sole on the IS feels really solid, more so than any other I have used in recent memory. The A1923 derbies from SS09 is the only pair I can think of that had a sole that wore out slower.
