1k gives you plenty of options (in the pre-owned market), look for some used Carpes (S21M or S40M). The Augusta boot will eventually go on sale at some point. The SS12 multizip will go on sale at Barneys around Dec.
Might wait a bit on that one then till Dec!
On another subject I am looking for layer-0 cordovan lace up boots in 44, Are lazari and Daad the best priced options? Also what is the story with Sartorialoft? Do they still operate? Seems they are relocating

thanx

Lazzari and PnP are always really good options- if price is your biggest concern.

Roma Zurich may be willing to send you a pair.

Sartorialoft is still operating- not sure whether they are moving are not-

een, care to chime in on this?

He is still looking for a space in LA - I believe most if not all of the stock shown on the blog currently is for the Hong Kong store; that said David has always taken great care of his clients - I'd just shoot him an email to see what he might have available in the U.S.

I got those A1923 derbies in the mail yesterday. These ones:
700

I don't think the leather on my pair is quite as distressed, but that's not a problem for me. They're quite beautiful; quality is of course amazing. The left pair is a little tight on top of my toes (bigger left foot like most people) but shouldn't be a problem with a little bit of wear. Really looking forward to wearing them out. I was kind of worried at first that the shape wouldn't work in my wardrobe after all but I think I'll be fine. My first pair of really high end footwear and definitely makes me want more. I'm content for now though. Thanks again for the heads-up on these...price was too good to pass up.

I could but unfortunately my camera isn't all that great. It would be hard to get the details that make it nice. The leather on the left shoe looks more distressed than the right. I'm busy tonight (procrastinating on SF), but I might still take some pics in a few days.

just shine some light on them. 90% of good pictures is due to lighting.

I'll be shopping around for some brown side (back) zips soon, any suggestions on what to look at? ~1k. Pretty vague I know, but I'm not too knowledgeable about what / where to look.

Okay, so Guidis then. I reverse searched that pic and it lead me back to this thread to a post by dmash seven months ago. Am I missing something?
