yes and if you are one of those very few that live in the EU, completely ignore and disrespect our policy and order something - then demand to return it for money back (citing this ridiculous EU law) then yes - it will be the last item you ever buy from us online.

darklands just recently started to remove vat which is a confusing subject to me of why they didnt do it in the first place, but their return policy has always been clear, to use "eu law" against them is not fair (unless you received the wrong item such is the case in the sz thread), just be careful with what you order.

Hi guys,

what is your experience with Layer-0 quality of the leather? Thinking of buying those backzip boots. I read somewhere that the leather is not very thick and somewhat brittle. It does look pretty solid on the photos. I am torn between the layer-0 ( good price/ quality) and Augusta back zips (love the look but over my budget at retail).

Also do you know a place in Montreal Canada who caries Layer-0/Guidi/MA+ or Augusta?

Thanks

well the backzips i played with yesterday (the ones you want to buy) had very stiff bison leather, i think he treated it with something because it almost didnt feel like leather at least not like ma+ backzips felt with bison leather, the boot is reminiscent of a1923, idk how thick it is because it is lined on the inside with something, i do doubt that its as thick as a1923 but i was impressed at how well constructed the sole is. idk who would sell this in montreal.

thanks, do you think the toe would flatten a bit with wear? it has a bit of an extreme angle when not worn!

also how did you feel about the heel does it feel unstable? ( it does look smaller then the a1923)?

tnx

see this post i literally talked about the heel http://www.styleforum.net/t/248835/...boot-shoe-thread-700usd-min/4485#post_5815890

as far as the upturned toe, it will be fine with wear, my a1923 had that and it flattened out, now it wont flatten out completely like most mc shoes but it will look good

man thanks for all the info!

i am basicaly taking a decision between these used a1923 llama laced boots :http://supertalk.superfuture.com/in...nts-a1923-boots-us11-bbs-pant-m/#entry2829394 and a Layer-0 backzips new ( Lazari seems to have the best price on those)
Any thoughts on that? Do you have any experience with the llama laced boots?
Sorry for the million questions, since I have never seen these boots in person I need a bit of help!
thx

There is no reason, he is trying to overtake ccp and by jacking up the prices he is creating the mystique that his shoes are somehow worthy of the price.
