Sorry to break up the poop party. shog[1].gif

But I love my Guidi e28 slip-ons. Pretty much wear them all summer long, without socks. They aren't as lightweight as, say, a pair of espadrilles but the calf version I got from Idol never feel constrictive and there has been no issue with dye transfer. Comfy as hell (for a flat sole) and I miss them every fall when they get put back on the shelf.

you gotta get concealed socks for those though (i call them ballet socks, don't know what the proper term is), otherwise they're going to be a stinky, stinky mess quite quickly.

dye transfer isn't the concern for me, wearing shoes sockless makes them stink, and you can't fix that...

I don't wanna argue with you, Graham. But I can assure you that my e28s are at best at an odorless state and I've worn them hard for going on two summers now.

I have a pair of those socks you speak of and do wear them with my Guidi derbies and Layer-0 derbies. But there ain't nothing getting between me and my slip-ons. Kind of defeats the purpose, IMO.

well I don't wanna argue with you either, so there!

perhaps my feet are just sweatier than yours ;p shog[1].gif

[the socks i'm speaking of wouldn't show even in an E28 though, that's their whole purpose]

i actually need more socks. a link to your favorite no shows would be most appreciated foo.gif the only caveat is that they need to fit tiny feet ,_.;

link i cannot do...

[seeing as how i buy them from local dance / ballet shops]

and seeing as how i buy them from local dance / ballet shops, they are made for girls, so small feet shouldn't be an issue lol. shog[1].gif
