PR helped Altieri in the early stages of m_moria so he at least knows what he's doing. They are really great in person, more chunky than they appear in pics. I really love his model with the bronze toe cap. Eastern market picked these up last year but sold out before they hit the floor. They are getting the ones w/o toe cap this year.

taken from various instagrams, Eastern Market, La Paradox ...

I mean, god knows I do genuinely love that, but I meant specifically the color of the nails on the sole.

I was very happy to see that the leather on my pair is smooth and beautiful. It's also pretty unreal how soft and supple they are, considering that the leather is pretty thick.

Do they get any easier to put on though? :embar: Man it's super difficult to get your foot in. Would hate having to spend a few minutes loosening the laces every time! Very comfortable otherwise.

I keep my laces super loose, but otherwise, no, it's a pain to get your foot in.  There are an inordinate number of eyelet hole for what is a very low ankle boot.  I stupidly wore mine through airport security once...

Yes, my wife made them for me, based on my design. The fabric is wool/cashmere with some silk.

a1923 culatta dual zip from fw14 https://www.gr@iled.com/listings/393641-a1923-a-diciannoveventitre-dz1black-oiled-matte-culatta

these are my favorite iteration of the dual zip, only thing i see odd in the post is that he says boots are deadstock, then why vibram them? also hard to tell after adding vibram.

Also, the seams in the back are significantly different (3rd picture). Don't know how that might affect the way they wear, but a bit sketchy.

Thanks, @sinnedk. I know I don't even have to check gr@iled myself, because you will either post or buy every single decent boot in size 44 from the site!

@Jbravo those pants are beautiful! You're a lucky guy to have such a talented in-house tailor!

LOL LOL LOL .... actually my purchases that were "2nd" hand have been both via SF pm. The nice gents i did business with didn't want to hassle with grailed. As far as grailed, i just have the below filters:

Regarding the boot, well its a1923 and artisan so maybe the boots just turned out that way. The seller i think is mirror & rack from SZ because he tried selling me those but i cannot recall if they were lightly used. I think its easy to wear a boot, slap vibram on it and say its new. who is going to pull off the soles and know since the cobbler sands down the sole anyways. Heck even vibram washes off easily.

either way those boots are totally worth it and had i had unlimited cash supply i'd keep an extra pair.
