Jeez. Do they have a phone number? If yes, then just call them.

raul at williesshoeservice.com

Just write Raul and let him know what you have/want.

Takes at least a couple of weeks.

Cheers.

You know at one point these snarky useless remarks stopped but here we go again. If a person asks a question in this thread no matter how annoying such as guidi sizing you shouldn't give a useless snarky remark. Whats the point? Honestly did you somehow help me? Did you somehow point me in the right direction considering ATG below here just stated there is an email. And if you read, i asked what the process was, i've never done business with them; hence, i am curious. Grow up.

You're acting like some kind of facilitator of the thread. I know you mean it well, and you add a lot of good stuff, but to be honest it's a bit annoying some of it:

Coolron and eck also have pairs.

And no I can't look the other way. Just stop and think for a moment, and let people answer themselves. I'm sure the thread will survive even though you post less.

Cheers,

PS. Grown ups pick up the phone and call the shop they want to do business with. My mom taught me this when I was 10.

Does anyone have any experience with Guidi customer support? My 988 horse zipper has been badly torn (at fabric): now the only option is to change it entirely. My cobbler can do it but obviously he doesn't have a Guidi zipper or quite similar to put a puller from my old zipper there at least.

Any chance they could send me a new zipper? I don't mean the whole repair. So far I've shot them an email but never got a reply.

Unfortunately, asking retailer is not an option.

UPD: SF magic in action, got my reply just now (and email was sent several days ago, last week). And indeed they can send me a new zipper which is great.

As nice as I'd hoped. A little tight near the front (insole removed) but I'm pretty sure they'll be fine with a little wear. Thanks to Eck for the Jedi-like enabling.

@AlexanderTG yea mine are a little tight as well but I remember wearing my older ones were tight an do wore thin socks with them. Once the toebox flattens it should be fine. Also looks like the last is a bit different now. Narrower.

It could take a while but eventually you might need to add the insole back. The vamp will relax and the toe folds will give in over time but with the V notched vamp on these, that area starts out rather structurally immobile. Are the folds of the toe pinching you or is the general instep area too snug? I highly promote the Pedag half insole as a solution for this type of fit. If the toe is tight but you need a little heel cushion and support these will fix you up. @nicelynice turned me on to this brand over Tacco and I must say, I am a convert. The half  or 3/4 version insole is delightfully entitled the "holiday". They are the perfect remedy for offensively sharp inner tacks in a guidi boot as well.

You should wear these at your wedding.  In sickness and in health? in sick CCP and in Harnden is more like it.

I love it, man! Thanks for posting. Do you know if these are 995? Color code and leather by any chance?
