There are people that didn't get m_moria either.

Actually there were people who in the beginning of the thread didn't get any of these brands that are now the most frequent posters. Not saying you have to like anything or that you're not allowed to have your own taste. I reckon those PH shoes would be really cool in the right setting.

Oh, absolutely. I am certainly one of those people who didn't know jack about any of this a couple of years ago. Just putting the pic up for others, really. I mainly think it's ironic that PH is really mostly known around these parts for his jackets and pants and not his shoes.

I've eyed a pair of his combat boots that were recently up on Grilled and the off-white ones second from left aren't half bad irl.

no it doesn't. But I can state I don't like something. As always Hendrix let's part ways and not talk.

PH shoes seem to have some janky quality issues, I've seen a lot of used pairs where the soles were splitting, stitching coming seperated, etc. I guess it's kinda that old-timey aesthetic, but I've never handled a pair and thought "wow, what a well-made shoe."

The whole point of a discussion thread is to discuss
With shoes opinions will always be largely subjective so really why not say that you think they are ugly

Because they are ugly

atg those are cooler.

@NN same here when k handled them I liked the nailed on sole but not much else. Handled in degli effetti.

While I do like the tag-sale-free-pile/cat-5-tornado-rubble look I just didn't like the ones at IF.

So yeah, I thought they were mostly pretty ugly.

oh yeah absolutely. I don't think it's necessary to put "IMO" before every obviously subjective opinion out there.

Just that with certain posters we've seen a history of groupthought opinions projecting a really narrow aesthetic that's not so much a product of taste as it is a product of familiarity.

@Guy Burgess pointed out to me that those might not even be made by PH, just slapped with a PH tag and +$1000 and I think he's right especially after seeing those in person (without cap toe). Looks incredibly similar to William Lennon's hill boot, I think @Guy Burgess has a pair of those. Really wouldn't surprise me if PH did that frown.gif

While we are at it, these are ugly and effeminate at the same time, and kind of stupid looking (IMO of course). Are they m_moria?
