Mmmm, very nice. My screen shows them as sort of brown. Correct? I've been thinking about a pair of brown 9-hole boots as my next order, but after seeing the pics of new models coming out, I'm considering holding off for a minute. Your picture shows the thickness of the leather very well. Terrific pair!

/\ This one was a wonderful mix of brown and red. Very dark shades all throughout.
You can also order a few different shades of just brown.

i know they're of vastly different build quality and price but purely in terms of looks i would much rather wear that mmoria ^ rather than a guidi.

of course, maybe aesthetically they follow a different belief, but that is not to say that mmoria does not age and mould to the wearer's foot, just maybe over years.

They are completely different.  I think that perhaps it's a disservice to even compare them in any way.  It would be like comparing... Berluti and John Lobb.  They are aesthetically disimilar, even though they belong in the same general style and class of footwear

Beautiful, and precisely why I said, "...sort of brown." There is no "color" to his leathers, only colors (except for the black ones, I guess). So yes, brownish, brownoid will be next!

Come with us, @psydle, come to the dark side. Forget about those other tiny people and their little footwear. m_moriabc awakens.

Anyone have sizing advice for Guidi 992 in washed horse? There's a couple on grilled I'm looking at, one +2 from my normal size, one +1.5. I've heard horse doesn't shrink as much in the final treatment, so might not need to be sized up as much as some other people report? I've never had a chance to try any Guidi's on so really would be relying on guesswork.

The Guidi 992 is the derby form of the 994 or 995, right?  I find that those size 1 size small, in general, but that they feel really comfortable after a couple of wearings, in any leather.  For reference, I wear a size 45 in all the 995 and 994 I have or have tried on, and wear a size 44 in Margiela GATs and 43 in Common Projects.
