Says he takes paypal so I dont see why they wouldnt use grailed etc but maybe they dont like dealing with English

Are there any equivalent Chinese language sites? like grailed/yahoo japan/rakuten equivalents?

I talked to him, he was re commended by someone else. I believe he is legit, didn't give me any reason to think he is want.

If you use PayPal you should be ok.

It has... everything?  Though probably proportionally less in that high end market of exepnsive footwear that looks like it's been worn by a tramp.

Similar style to the good ole Carpe rip-offs, but a sleeker last and low shaft make them pretty versatile and easy to wear. Planning on wearing them to the office with slacks

Those look kind of cool, but, dude: you wear..."slacks?" (sucks breath in through teeth, grimacing slightly).

Processed By eBay with ImageMagick, z1.1.0. ||B2

Not sure they will fit, but for the price it is worth a shot.

I slept, literally fell asleep, on a yahoo auction for a pair of carpe side zips in 44. If anyone here got them, then you know the drill: holler at me.

hmmm my first guess was either Seattle or Toronto but given the brass color and a bit of the structure peeping, i'd guess you are at the eiffel tower in paris, could be tokyo tower but thats red.

No offense intended, NN! It's just that, well, I was very young in the 70's, young and impressionable, and slacks made an indelible,  traumatic mark on me. Still haven't quite gotten over it...

Guys, I need a little advice.

I have this pair of Guidi 698s (side zip) in black reverse calf that I had special ordered from H way back before I had much experience with the usual suspects.

I wasn't aware at the time that reverse for Guidi meant suede. I thought it would be more like Carpe or Layer-0--smooth and rough not supple and furry.

I'm not really down with the "meat sock" as I've heard it called. The shape is a little weird for me now that I have the m_morias and dual zips in rotation.

My question is, should I keep them and just try to wear them into submission and possibly end up liking them? Do they turn into some magical beast after hard wear?

Or should I just sell and be done with them? I've only worn them a handful of times.

This isn't a classified ad (though they are 43.5 and fit my 42.5 feet spot on), just hoping for some direction from those who may have Guidi expertise.

i think they both have a place in your wardrobe.
