Anyone know what's up with this pair of MMM boots? They look heavily distressed but the heel looks like it has no wear on it, and the sole looks shiny still despite looking worn. At first I thought it was weird, but there is another very similar pair on ebay, though that one has been worn.

also someone should consider these

I'm not sure I want to know how much those S40Ms cost... or some equivalent.

Received some a1923 backzips in a trade, super happy. I was looking for something a little chunkier in the toe and these seem perfect. Baby calf leather with some brown hues peeking through under the black.

s40s are the side zip and the s21s are the back zip. besides that, they're pretty similar.

breezy: yes, the top left are the ones i was selling. they are no longer for sale :B. the middle one is indeed the destroyed horse. i am not sure why the leather is so soft on the s21w compared to the s45m.

From top to bottom, left to right:

Carpe Diem S21M Dark Brown Double Soled Horse
Carpe Diem S21W Black Destroyed Horse
Carpe Diem S23M Black Double Soled Calf (?) Actually not too sure about the leather on this one
Guidi 992 Chocolate Brown Reverse Horse
Carpe Diem S45M Black Destroyed Horse
Augusta Dark Grey Reverse Horse

lol so much horse ): need some other leather lol ):~

Bah why? Horse for life ;p I have some footwear in other leathers... but I try and avoid it. Exceptions being my attachment reversed calf (Shape was too awesome). Various av_field shoes (Buried in the desert adds enough cachet to justify it for me). Some guidi in donkey (As durable as horse so acceptable... bison would work too). And a pair of guidi in baby calf (First pair of "baller boots"... settled before getting horse in my life).

Can't really beat the insane durability of horse, but that's what I go for.

Wish I could find a clean backzip like that these days... Oh wait ma+ is close, either way those Cdiem in upper left hand corner are cool

@eck what are the chances of a brand new 44 before I end up with a ma+ backzip?

It's pretty rare to find anything Cdiem new.... keeping checking ebay/yahoo jp & rakuten. I was told the M.A+ back zips being discontinued by Pita a few days ago.

backzip/sidezip- The fit is totally different IMO; S40M is a bit narrower.

single sole and double sole look completely different.
